All aboard the Polar Express! I'm not referring to the popular book and movie, but rather many real-life trains that depart for a trip to the North Pole. OK, so it's not the real North Pole, but for children it's still an exciting adventure! Most of these Christmas trains are specially decorated and include visits from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the helper elves. Generally served up are holiday treats such as hot cocoa, milk, cookies or candy canes and most trains feature storytelling as part of the trip through the countryside. With so many stations throughout the USA and other countries, Santa is sure to be stopping off near your town soon.
