With the Halloween season fast approaching, like many people, you may be planning to celebrate with some snack-filled movie nights. Only thing is, you're looking for something a little more fun than frightening. You have children to consider when making your selection, or perhaps you just aren't big on scares and prefer something a bit more safe. Well, look no further! New Holiday DVD & Blu-Ray Releases 11/05/13

Huge volume of holiday movies released this week! Includes special editions of Mickey's Christmas Carol, A Very Merry Pooh Year, a special for the popular TV show, Duck Dynasty: I Am Dreaming of a Redneck Christmas, Rise Of The Guardians Holiday Edition DVD and Blu-Ray sets. Blu-Ray releases of other classics too, including A Christmas Story, Bishop's Wife, Scrooged, Elf and lots of other classic movies and TV. Plenty of new original movies to add to your collection as well!

ABC Family's 13 Nights of Halloween

Feel that chill running down your spine? That could only mean one thing. The 13 Nights of Halloween are baaaaaaack ... and spookier than ever. With more movies than you can shake a broomstick at -- including a Pretty Little Liars marathon and Halloween special, Switched at Birth fall finale, Coraline, Hocus Pocus, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, The Haunted Mansion, The Mummy and many more -- it's a haunting season you'll never forget. Make sure to leave room in your treat bag for polls and videos for every ghoul and boy. So grab a fistful of Halloween candy and settle in for some dark and stormy nights, because the 13 Nights of Halloween are coming for you October 19th through the 31st. And there's no escape! Disney Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion Handbag

This spine-tingling Haunted Mansion-Inspired Dooney & Bourke Bag will be coming to Disney Parks on September 13! If you didn't realize it, that lands on a Friday and what could be a more appropriate day for such a spooky extravagance to be released to the public? As I have mentioned previously, I am a huge fan of Disneyland and the Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride of all, so this handbag is certainly making me drool. Unfortunately though, with a price tag of $330.00 (plus tax), I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon, but please don't let me stop you from lavishing such a gift on a starving blogger. Disney's Haunted Mansion Collection

I am simply mad when it comes to all things Disney...especially their world class amusement parks! Living in Southern California, I do my best to take a trip out to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure as often as possible. It just never gets old! Like most visitors, I have my favorite attractions and the very top of the list for me is The Haunted Mansion. As a child, the realism of its ghostly effects terrified me. As an adult I could fully appreciate the creative work that went behind it and am amazed by how well the technology has held up over time (with a few upgrades of course).

So, you can imagine my joy in sharing this new Haunted Mansion Collection available from the Disney Store. There are some excellent pieces here, many of which will make for spooky decor pieces for Halloween, but I think the one I love most of all if the Holiday ornament.
