Featured Music From The Haunted Mansion

For anyone who has visited any of the Disney theme parks, The Haunted Mansion is without a doubt one of the most popular attractions of all time. Even though it first opened in 1969, it still continues to be a top notch ride with immense thrills and chills. It just happens to be my personal favorite!

The song featured throughout the attraction is "Grim, Grinning Ghosts" and was composed by Buddy Baker. Several versions with different styles play throughout, but it's the lyrical version that stands out most of all. A little known fact is that one of the most prominent vocalist on the track is Thurl Ravenscroft. Aside from other Disney projects, Thurl Ravenscroft is most recognizable from the theme song of the Chuck Jones/Dr. Seuss Christmas special 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' and as the voice of Tony the Tiger. The song can be found on the CD reissue of the vinyl classic, Story & Song From The Haunted Mansion.
