For Fall Foliage

It's peak foliage here in New Hampshire and no matter how long I live here, I am always amazed by the beauty and grandeur I see around me this time of year. This is when people all over the world flock to New England and here are a few reasons why . . .

Don't let this amazing (and amazingly short) season pass you by unnoticed! Make sure you stop and really take a look around if you are in seasonal country. It really seems to go by in an instant and, to me, it is an amazing gift from God. How easily He could have made it for the leaves just turn brown and drop off dead, but instead He gave us an amazing show; a brilliant good-bye that makes facing the loss of summer green and the coming frost easier to bear.

To find out when color is at peak where you live, check the Fall Foliage Map on The Weather Channel's website!

The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. -- Isaiah 55:12b
